Contributor Structure

Moosh operates through a three-layer contributor structure designed to balance accountability, expertise, and open participation.

Each layer plays a distinct role in the protocol’s development and ecosystem growth.

🧭 Core Team

The Core Team consists of members with long-term commitment to Moosh and responsibility for the protocol’s overall direction, evolution, and final execution outcomes.

This layer includes both management and core builders, and is the only group that holds final decision-making authority within the protocol.

The Core Team is responsible for:

  • defining protocol architecture and long-term strategy
  • owning critical systems and core infrastructure
  • making key design and risk management decisions
  • ensuring long-term sustainability and security

They drive the full lifecycle of the protocol—from design and implementation to ongoing maintenance—and assume ultimate responsibility for the system’s security, stability, and long-term development.

🧩 Core Contributors

Core Contributors are trusted individuals who participate deeply in Moosh without being members of the Core Team.

They may include advisors, domain experts, long-term collaborators, or ecosystem partners who contribute to specific areas of research, design, or implementation.

Core Contributors can exert meaningful influence on the protocol through their expertise and involvement. However, they:

  • do not hold final decision-making authority
  • do not carry long-term protocol responsibility

This layer introduces external experience and specialized capability while preserving clear accountability boundaries.

🌐 Community Contributors

Community Contributors support the growth and evolution of Moosh through participation in the broader ecosystem.

Their contributions may include:

  • protocol usage and testing
  • feedback and issue reporting
  • tooling and integrations
  • documentation and education
  • community activities and ecosystem development

By providing real-world usage signals and continuous feedback, Community Contributors help ensure that Moosh evolves in response to real needs and supports a healthy, expanding ecosystem.
