Contribution Overview

Contribution in Moosh refers to actions that meaningfully help the protocol grow, function, or improve during the testnet phase.

Rather than treating contribution as a reward mechanism or incentive program, Moosh views contribution as a way to understand how the system is used, where it performs well, and where it needs improvement. Contribution signals help inform protocol design decisions, parameter tuning, and long-term system evolution.

Contribution is not a single action or metric. It is a collection of different behaviors that reflect real engagement with the protocol, including network growth, protocol usage, and system support. These behaviors are evaluated in context, with an emphasis on quality, intent, and relevance rather than raw volume or frequency.

During the testnet phase, contribution does not imply ownership, rewards, or future entitlements. It represents participation in testing and improving an early-stage system. Contribution definitions, recognition logic, and categorization may evolve over time as the protocol matures.

This section of the documentation explains how Moosh defines contribution at a high level. Detailed mechanics, user actions, and implementation details are described elsewhere and should be understood as separate from the conceptual role of contribution within the system.
